Base pay range
PrepWorld is seeking a Procurement Planner to ensure a fast, efficient, and effective supply chain process for internal stakeholders and suppliers. The role involves maintaining adequate stock levels to meet customer orders and escalating issues as needed.
Main duties:
1. Strategy and planning: Assist with daily stock plans under the guidance of senior team members to ensure timely stock availability for production.
2. Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams, suppliers, growers, and third parties.
3. Day-to-Day Operations: Manage stock control systems, monitor stock levels, resolve discrepancies, review quality control reports, and manage raw material rejections and replacements.
4. System and Invoice Management: Ensure proper setup of consignments, timely processing of invoices, and accurate entry of production orders.
5. Certification and Communication: Ensure fruit is certified for use, read and prioritize emails, and raise discrepancies with suppliers.
6. Relationship Building and Issue Escalation: Establish effective relationships with supply base and escalate issues regarding shortages or system failures to senior staff.
7. Reporting: Provide ad hoc reports as required.

* Fluent in spoken and written English (essential).
* Additional European language skills, especially Spanish (desirable).
* Understanding of fruit types and supply chain processes (highly desirable/essential).
* Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders (essential).
* Good negotiation skills and confident communication (essential).
* Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office (essential).
* Self-organized, attentive to detail, and able to support team members (essential).

Working hours and salary:
Tuesday to Saturday, 08:00 - 17:00, with Saturday working from home option. Starting salary: £31,000 per annum.
