We're now looking for a Transport Manager to oversee our daily transport operations!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Take the Lead: Oversee our daily transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to our customers.
* Innovate & Optimise: Develop and implement transport strategies that enhance efficiency and drive success. Your ideas will help us stay ahead of the curve!
* Ensure Safety: Uphold the highest safety standards and compliance regulations, creating a safe and secure workplace for everyone.
* Team Builder: Develop, engage, and inspire your team, creating an environment where every colleague can do their best.
* Analyse & Improve: Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement. Your analytical skills will help us deliver excellence every day!
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
* Previous practical experience as a Transport Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment.
* Experience in the preparation and distribution of volume orders.
* Computer literate with practical knowledge of logistics software packages (Microlise).
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise, and train direct reports.
* Experience in Working Time Directive.
* Willingness to work 12-hour shifts: 8:00-20:00 / 7:00-19:00 (4 On 4 Off).
* Transport experience and knowledge are essential.
