We are on the lookout for an Events Co-Ordinator to join our bunch.
Who are We?:
Located in Newbury, Berkshire, just off junction 13 on the M4 and 55 minutes away from London by train.
Donnington & Co is a privately owned fabulous 4* hotel, boasting a luxury health club and spa, an 18 hole golf course, an award winning restaurant and a fabulous outside dining concept The Hangout.
We are looking for an Events Co-Ordinator to join our bunch.

The Events Co-Ordinator Role

We are now looking for a passionate and experienced Events and Reservations Co-Ordinator to join our vibrant team on a full time, permanent contract.
You will be part of the Events and Reservations team which is the main point of contact within the hotel for all booking enquiries and you and the team will be responsible for converting those enquiries into bookings as part of the sales process. From there your role is to plan events and confirm bookings, communicating client requirements to both the internal and external team both verbally and in writing. You will communicate with guests over the phone, email and in person leading site visits and planning meetings.
The successful applicant will be highly articulate, accurate and be extremely well presented. They will possess excellent communication skills at all levels and be adept at identifying customer needs and providing solutions to match these. Other key skills include being well organised, motivated, a good sales person with exceptional attention to detail and the desire to go the extra mile for our guests.
The shift patterns for this role includes but is not limited to 9-5.30pm, 10-6.30.pm, 11-7.30pm and includes some weekend working in which time off in lieu is provided.
Previous experience in organising events, a sales background or hospitality experience is preferred.
