Forde Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced CNC programmerto join a busy engineering manufacturer in South Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an apprentice-trained CNC programmer looking for a long-term role with excellent earning potential and shift premiums.
The Role
* Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Creating, editing, downloading, and archiving CNC programs
* Inspecting finished components using measuring equipment
* Recording dimensions and completing production documentation
* Carrying out basic machine maintenance
* Working to tight tolerances and quality standards
What Were Looking For
* Previous CNC Turning experience
* iGuide programming experience preferred
* Apprentice trained or time-served machinist ideal
* Strong understanding of tooling and machining conditions
* Confident using precision measuring equipment
* Ability to read technical engineering drawings
* Reliable team player with strong attention to detail
Salary & Shifts
* Salary:£45,000 £55,000 DOE
Hours:39 hours per week
