Behaviour Intervention Practitioner
Location: Manchester (M13)
Pay: £475-£550 per week, depending on experience
Start Date: 23/02/2026
Are you a calm and resilient individual, with previous experience supporting SEMH? We are currently working with a large SEMH provision to recruit for experienced behaviour intervention practitioners, to start after February half term.
As a behaviour intervention practitioner, you will:
Build strong rapport with pupils, encouraging engagement in learning
Be involved in the creation and implementation of Education, Health Care Plans (EHCPs)
Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, behaviour support and interventions tailored to the individualBehaviour Practitioner - What we are looking for:
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Team Teach training is highly desired but training can be provided
Experience working with children with SEMH needs (either in a care, school or youth work setting)
A strong understanding of SEMH and SEN strategies SEMH Mentor - To Be Eligible You Must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Have an enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
