The Role
Join our forward-thinking subsurface team, where you will be integral to delivering a wide range of reservoir engineering projects. These include hydrocarbon exploration and production, geological storage of natural gas, CO2, and hydrogen, as well as geothermal energy solutions. Your expertise will help shape the future of sustainable energy.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Expertise: Provide expert petrophysical input on projects spanning hydrocarbon production, natural gas, CO2 and hydrogen storage, and geothermal energy.
* Project Delivery: Deliver complete, high quality project deliverables. Support peer review process and quality assurance of own and other team members’ work.
* Business development: Engage in business development activities, discuss potential projects with clients, support the delivery of project proposals, contribute to development of work plans and budgets.
* Mentorship: Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Key Skills
* Technical Proficiency: Skilled in utilizing standard petrophysical software for exploration, appraisal and development, with specific expertise in at least one area.
* Analytical Expertise: Demonstrated ability to analyse, interpret, and integrate log and core data to support subsurface engineering studies for a range of applications.
* Project Management: Experience in planning, leading and delivering projects, coordinating teams and managing time and resources successfully.
* Multitasking: Proven ability to prioritize activities, delegate tasks and quickly filter information from multiple sources.
* Collaborative Approach: Experience working closely with other subsurface professionals to create validated and integrated reservoir models.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and client organizations and deliver technically sound reports.
* Networking: Proven ability to establish and maintain networks across diverse functions.
* Consultancy Experience: Experience within an energy consultancy environment is preferable.
* Professional Growth: Demonstrated commitment to continuous personal and professional development, with professional memberships actively supported.
