An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and self-motivated Bookkeeper to join a well-established property management and estate agency business based in South West London.
This is a varied, hands-on role offering responsibility for the day-to-day management of office accounts within a supportive and friendly working environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will take ownership of office bookkeeping functions, ensuring accurate financial record keeping and supporting the smooth running of the business’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records and account files
2. Preparing management accounts
3. Managing payroll journals and financial records
4. Preparing and submitting VAT returns
5. Processing invoices and payment approvals
6. Managing creditor and debtor accounts
7. Handling supplier queries and general finance enquiries
8. Bank reconciliation and ledger management
9. Producing financial reports for directors
10. Supporting year-end accounting processes and liaising with external accountants
About You
11. AAT Level 4 qualified or equivalent experience
12. Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 and Excel
13. Highly organised with strong attention to detail
14. Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
15. Strong communication and problem-solving skills
16. Proactive and professional approach
17. Positive team player with a methodical working style
