Derek Lewis Ltd is actively seeking a skilled and experienced road surfacing gang. We are looking for professionals with both machine and hand‑lay experience to join our dynamic team. The gang will be primarily working in the Yorkshire area, with occasional projects requiring travel.
Roles within the Gang
* Rake Hands
* Paver/Roller Drivers
* Screwman
Responsibilities
* Execute road surfacing projects including highways, car parks, and footpaths.
* Operate machinery and perform hand‑lay techniques as required.
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety on all projects.
* Adapt to both local and away work requirements as needed.
Requirements
* Proven experience in road surfacing.
* Competency in using road surfacing machinery and tools.
* Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel for occasional projects outside Yorkshire.
