*Summary*
We are seeking a Service Manager to lead our service team at M and M Plant in Devon & Cornwall. Based at our new site, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service management and technical expertise.
*Responsibilities*
* Oversee daily operations of the service department to ensure efficient workflow.
* Lead and motivate the service team to deliver exceptional customer support.
* Manage repair schedules, parts inventory, and maintenance processes.
* Develop upselling strategies to enhance revenue from service offerings.
* Maintain high standards of mechanical work and safety compliance.
* Build strong relationships with customers to promote loyalty.
* Coordinate with sales teams to identify opportunities for additional services.
* Ensure accurate cash handling and financial procedures are followed.
* *Qualifications*
* Proven experience in mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery.
* Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
* Ability to lead a team effectively and motivate staff.
* Experience in upselling services or products is advantageous.
* Good organizational skills for managing schedules and inventory.
* Knowledge of cash handling procedures.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Excellent computer skills, training will be given
* Prior experience in a dealership or service environment is preferred.
