Your responsibilities will include: Employee File Management: Set up new starters and archive leavers efficiently. Entry and Exit Procedures: Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes in compliance with local regulations. Employee References: Support the preparation and provision of references for employees. Meeting Support: Provide note-taking assistance during employee relations meetings. Record Maintenance: Update and maintain employee records, including HR Information Systems. Payroll Data Management: Enter key information for monthly payroll cycles. Reporting: Prepare regular and ad hoc HR reports to help drive informed decisions. Policy Implementation: Assist in implementing UK employee-related policies aligned with legal requirements. Communication: Facilitate efficient communication regarding HR changes, joiners, leavers, and promotions. Feedback Loop: Offer continuous feedback to your Line Manager to improve ongoing processes. Ad Hoc Duties: Support the HR team with various tasks as required. What We're Looking For: To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualities: Excellent Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills to convey complex information clearly. Initiative & prioritisation: Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail. Flexibility: Adaptable to changing priorities and capable of absorbing new information quickly. HR Knowledge: Understanding of UK employment law and HR best practises is a plus.
