You will be supporting students aged 11 to 18 with mental health needs and behaviour challenges throughout the school day, helping to support them socially, emotionally and academically. As a Mental Health/Behaviour Assistant, you will be providing both 1:1 and group support in the classroom under the guidance of the class teacher. You will help the students develop appropriate social and emotional skills whilst fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment. You will play a crucial role in the students' education, providing them with a positive role model that they can trust and model their behaviour on.
