JOB PURPOSE
To help create a friendly, welcoming, caring environment for customers of Live Active Loch Leven.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Duties
* You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the desired image of Live Active Loch Leven through a welcoming, friendly approach to all customers
* To operate the point of sale till system in reception, issuing receipts for various activities
* To carry out cash handling duties, taking monies and giving change to customers for admission to the centre
* To receive and process credit cards and cheques
* To take bookings for the facilities and all classes within the Facility
* To sell items which are available for resale in the reception area
* To keep and maintain a stock control of resale items at reception
* To deal with enquiries from the public, both in person and on the telephone
* To provide information on programming and promotional events within the centre and Live Active Leisure
* To maintain a high standard of cleanliness in and around the Facility at all times
Other
* To assist with clerical duties as necessary
Health and safety
* To comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all supplementary legislation
* To liaise with Live Active Leisure maintenance team and other agencies to ensure that the Centre provides a safe, quality environment at all times
Training
* To attend regular staff training sessions, be they held in-house or externally
General
* To ensure you are physically fit to carry out your duties at all times
* To carry out other reasonable duties as may be required
* Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection guidelines
