About the Role: Head of Service & Maintenance This is a key leadership role at Harmony Fire, responsible for driving excellence across our service and maintenance operations. You will be the strategic and operational leader ensuring our service teams deliver outstanding customer experience, meet compliance standards, and contribute to the business’s ambitious growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the service and maintenance strategy to improve operational performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Lead, coach, and inspire the regional and national service teams, embedding a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence. Maintain and grow relationships with clients, ensuring we anticipate and exceed their needs. Take overall responsibility for the financial performance of the service division, ensuring KPIs, SLAs, and profit targets are consistently achieved. Manage and mitigate risks across contracts, safety, compliance, and delivery. Drive innovation in service delivery, using technology and best practices to streamline operations and enhance customer outcomes. Ensure HSE regulations, legal standards, and British Standards are fully met or exceeded across all activities. Work cross-functionally with Pre-Construction, Projects, and Sales teams to deliver seamless, end-to-end client solutions. What You’ll Bring Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems, with an excellent grasp of British Standards and NSI codes. Proven success leading large, distributed service or maintenance teams. At least 5–7 years in a senior management role, with clear achievements in operational and financial performance. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and hold teams accountable. Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and commercial management. A sharp eye for risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements. A mindset that thrives on innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
