Role: Technical Sales Engineer

Hours: 38-hour week over 4 or 5 days – flexible working

I’m supporting a specialist engineering business who are looking to appoint a Technical Sales Engineer to manage and grow their customer base across the UK, Europe, and the US. This role is key to strengthening relationships within the aerospace and industrial gas turbine (IGT) markets while identifying opportunities for new business and future growth.

Manage and develop existing customer accounts across aerospace and IGT markets
Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities
Liaise with engineering, procurement, and technical stakeholders
Match customer needs with precision-engineered solutions (jigs, fixtures, tooling, machined components)
Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to sales forecasting and strategy

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Background in aerospace, gas turbines, IGT, or technical engineering
Experience in technical sales or sales engineering
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong communication and customer relationship management skills
Proven commercial awareness and proactive approach to business development
