Purpose To carry out a range of textile technologist duties including technical, investigative, and quality assurance work to make sure the end product performs to specifications. Key Responsibilities · Assisting in the day-to-day quality assurance/control testing of fabrics and yarns to British Standards. · Preparation and testing of samples ensuring quality in areas such as strength, durability, colour fastness and chemical resistance. · Undertaking quality evaluations of materials and checking the quality of the final product. · Operation of testing equipment. · Logging results. · Recording, interpreting, and evaluating test results. · Supporting the Quality Manager in tasks related to the upkeep of UKAS and M&S documentation. · Supporting with investigations needed for Quality problems or complaints This is a superb brand well recognised with some excellent International clients.
