National Account Executive – UK Retail
Remote (occasional monthly travel to Italy HQ)
£45,000 + £6,000 car allowance + benefits
I’m currently partnering with one of Europe’s most exciting premium dessert manufacturers – a business on a fast-growth trajectory in the UK retail market. With £43m in UK sales this year and a forecast to hit £50m next year, this is a fantastic time to join the team.
We’re now looking for a National Account Executive to support the Top 5 grocery accounts (Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose, M&S, Morrisons) while also taking ownership of a group of regional accounts such as PRM, Spar, Nisa, Dunnes, and Booths.
This is a hybrid remote role – home-based in the UK, with the opportunity to visit the Italian HQ once a month.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Sales Manager on Top 5 grocery accounts: portal management, new line forms, promotional trackers and post-promo evaluation
* Manage your own portfolio of regional retail accounts including Iceland, Co-op and others
* Drive the execution of 80–100 annual product launches across branded and own label ranges
* Liaise with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure flawless delivery
* Monitor sales data, identify performance trends, and support future planning
* Ensure compliance with retailer systems and processes
* Build strong, professional relationships with retail partners and internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
* 1–2 years of experience in a commercial or sales support role, ideally within FMCG (food preferred)
* Highly organised and confident managing multiple projects at pace
* Strong communication skills and comfortable managing internal/external stakeholders
* Able to work confidently with sales data, Excel trackers, and customer portals
* Proactive, adaptable, and keen to develop into full account management
* Experience in own label or manufacturing is a plus
