Overview
We are working with a market leading FMCG company just outside of Spalding who are looking for a handful of multi-skilled engineers to join their growing team. This position will be working in a team of 8 across a 100% automated production line. The increase in demand has led to an expansion on site and requires a larger team to cover this new automated section of the factory.
The roles time will be split 70% as preventative maintenance, 20% as breakdowns and 10% as projects, meaning there’s lots of variety in a range of sections on the site. This role offers the chance to learn an ever growing range of equipment within a supportive business, who encourage development of skillsets and qualifications/certificates.
Responsibilities
* Perform preventative maintenance (70% of time) across a 100% automated production line.
* Respond to and repair equipment breakdowns (20%).
* Lead or contribute to projects (10%).
* Collaborate within a team of 8 and support the on-site expansion to the new automated section.
Qualifications
* 3+ years in engineering in a manufacturing environment.
* Level 3 or higher in an engineering discipline (electrical preferred).
* Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
* Good to have: experience with machinery installations; experience in food hygiene standards; an electrical certificate; time served or apprenticeship trained.
