Job Overview:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will play a pivotal role in managing the commercial aspects of residential projects. You will be responsible for overseeing project budgets, procurement, and contractual agreements to ensure the successful delivery of our developments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the growth and success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial aspects of residential development projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and procurement schedules.
- Conduct cost analysis, budget monitoring, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor variations and change orders, assessing their impact on project costs and timelines.
- Prepare and submit valuations, final accounts, and cost reconciliation reports.
- Provide commercial support and guidance to junior members of the quantity surveying team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the residential development sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management principles.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
