Role Summary
This is a pure new business role focused on building a commercial insurance portfolio from the ground up. You’ll be supported by internal lead generation, introducer relationships, and cross‑referrals, while taking ownership of developing your own pipeline. With a clear route into handling larger and more complex risks, this role is ideal for someone looking to establish and grow a book with long‑term progression in mind.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate new business: Build your own portfolio from scratch, directly impacting your earnings and progression
* Convert inbound opportunities: Maximise leads from internal teams and introducer networks
* Develop introducer relationships: Build partnerships with accountants, legal firms, and other professionals
* Conduct client meetings: Win new business through strong, face‑to‑face engagement
* Drive pipeline activity: Maintain consistent self‑generated business to accelerate growth
