About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to join the school full-time on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will:
* Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting across the school
* Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll
* Prepare management accounts, forecasts, and financial statements
* Support the senior leadership team with strategic financial advice
* Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
* Contribute to the smooth running and strategic development of the school
Experience and Qualifications
* Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally within an education or independent school setting
* Strong accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting skills
* Proficiency with finance software and MS Excel
* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
* Ability to work proactively and independently
* Legal right to work in the UK
