Job Description - Housekeeping Assistant
Introduction
Fountains Lodge Care Home provides personalised nursing and residential care to people living with cognitive impairments, including dementia care. The purpose-built home in Tunbridge Wells offers short stays too, to help both carers and their loved ones at times when they need a break or a little extra support.
The home has its own café, lounges, and private dining areas for family and friends to come and enjoy when visiting their loved ones or celebrating a birthday or anniversary together. Staff take great care to focus on the person, creating a friendly environment with an individually appropriate balance of care and independence.
Job Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff. Your duties will include:
* Vacuuming, mopping floors, and polishing
* Ensuring the upkeep of all communal areas and residents’ bedrooms
* Maintaining housekeeping stocks for day-to-day use and raising any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and be able to maintain an organised environment. You should be comfortable multitasking and, where necessary, working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
