Working hours:
40 hours per week, to be worked Monday Friday. 8-5 with an hour break.
This role is 100% office based as the candidate is required to be in the office
when the project manager is on site.

This is a new role for the Civils team and has come about due to growth. Myclient has invested in the Civils team around 18 months ago, bringing 3 seniormanagers to grow the division.
They have done just that and have been successful in winning tenders/businessand works are beginning to start.
As a result, they are now drowning in data and admin and really could do withsome support.
They are looking for a super organised admin/project coordinator based in theirRochester offices - someone who will be able to hit the ground running andintroduce solutions.
This is the first admin/support role in this site and so my client can see thisperson becoming a go-to with general office admin processes etc. It really is arole that a good coordinator can come in and quickly make their mark and apositive contribution.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has previously worked in aconstruction-based industry - This would be a great advantage.

About the vacancy
My client requires an experienced Project Co-ordinator to support their busy Civil
Engineering team in Rochester on a full time, permanent basis.
Key duties include accurate recording of site data, ensuring compliance to internal
and external standards and the co-ordination of a range of resources, thereby
ensuring seamless delivery and an excellent service to their clients.
Candidatesmust therefore have exceptional attention to detail, substantial experience in MSExcel and have the ability to build good internal and external working relationships.
As Project Coordinator you will be supporting the Senior Project Manager and the
Civils team, and so excellent organisation and communication skills will be key to
your success.
The ideal candidate will have had experience using online maps andadapt well to changing priorities. This role requires you to be proactive in yourapproach and, as an integral member of the team, demonstrate initiative inproblem solving.
The role will require you to be a self-motivated team member who can work bothindependently and muck-in as part of a team. You will take pride in your work,complete tasks to a high standard, in line with my clients ethos and values.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide professional and comprehensive support to the ProjectManager and the delivery team.
* Accurate capturing, recording and reporting of technical data,utilising spreadsheets, trackers and other software.
* Ensure project records and files are collated, complete, up to dateand stored in line with internal and external requirements.
* Proactively plan, coordinate and organise access, road closures,resource, logistics, etc. with appropriate third parties, in a timelymanner, supporting efficient delivery and building effectiverelationships.
* Create and implement efficient standard operating procedures forthe role of Project Coordinator, ensuring adherence to internalquality and compliance systems.
* Coordinate and submit various documents and reports, to theclient, as required.
* Manage and participate in the development and implementationof new ways of working to improve working processes.
* Proactively liaise and collaborate with internal colleagues andexternal clients to support effective service delivery andconsistency in practice.
* Coordinate, attend and minute meetings. Track and follow-upactions in a timely manner.
* Support the Project Manager incoordinating diaries.
* Provide technical administrative support to the wider business forad-hoc projects, when required.
* Develop excellent professional relationships with internal andexternal key stakeholders to support collaborative working.
* Observe and follow all applicable safe methods of working, andhealth, safety and environmental rules/procedures.
* Report anyincidents or Close Calls immediately to the appropriate person.
* Undertake training as required by your manager or the Company

Desirable:
*Previous technical administration experience is desirable.
* Experience in MS Projects
