Millmead Optical Group, a leading name in the UK optical industry with over 70 years of heritage, is looking for a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as an IT Apprentice. As an IT Apprentice, you'll work closely with our experienced IT team to support internal systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and help drive digital improvements across the company. You'll also be enrolled in a structured apprenticeship programme to develop your technical knowledge and skillsall while earning as you learn.
In this role, youll work towards yourLevel 3 IT Support Apprenticeship,delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
Provide 1st Line Helpdesk support to end users
Troubleshoot basic IT issues and escalate more complex problems when necessary
Perform password resets and manage user access requests
Log, manage, and resolve support tickets efficiently
Use remote access tools to assist users with technical issues
Deliver excellent customer service while resolving 1st line technical queries
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
£16,500 - £17,500 per annum
Monday to Friday 9am 5pm

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
Grade 4 in Maths and 5 in English is essential for this role
