Role Purpose
This permanent role involves working as part of an electricians team on industrial and water industry programmes in the South West London and Surrey regions for SES Water.
Employment Details
Full‑time, 40 hours per week on site Monday to Friday with hourly pay and paid overtime. Travel time door to door is reimbursed.
Responsibilities
* Complete electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
* Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to.
* Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans.
* Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and stop work if unsafe circumstances arise.
* Coach and mentor Electrical Improvers and Apprentices.
* Promote and demonstrate Bridges' values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients.
* Promote positive health and wellbeing amongst peers and act in a professional manner as an ambassador for Bridges.
Requirements
* ECS gold card (essential).
* Experience within the water or construction industry.
* Industrial and/or panel wiring experience (desirable).
* Ability to manage own and others' workload with minimal assistance from Project Managers in delivering safe profitable projects.
* Appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification.
* Fitness to work medical.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
* EUSR Water Hygiene.
* Inspection and testing certificate.
* PASMA / IPAF / Confined space certification.
* COMPEX.
