Location: Wokingham Hybrid - 3 days onsite/2 days Home

Role Description:
Design & Implementation:
* Plan, configure, and deploy network solutions (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN) to meet business requirements.
Maintenance & Optimization:
* Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and efficiency.
Security:
* Implement and maintain network security measures, including Firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
Documentation:
* Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
Collaboration:
* Work closely with IT teams and vendors to support infrastructure projects and resolve escalated issues.
Upgrades & Patching:
* Perform regular updates and patches to network hardware and software.
* Incident Response: Respond to network outages and security incidents promptly and effectively.
Strong knowledge of:
1. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
2. Network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, or similar).
3. Firewalls and security appliances.
4. Experience with network monitoring tools (eg, SolarWinds, Nagios).
5. Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus.<...
