The Richmond Fellowship Scotland makes a real difference in supporting people with their everyday lives. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Broomfield service as a Support Practitioner .
Please note: Due to the nature of this service, we can only accept applications from male applicants .
No previous experience in care is required - you’ll receive full training from our excellent, award-winning learning & development team before you start. This training includes classroom-based sessions, e-learning, and the chance to shadow experienced Support Practitioners and meet the people you’ll be supporting.
While a driving licence and access to your own car are preferable, they are not essential .
Requirements:
As a Support Practitioner, you may be required to work weekends, follow shift patterns, and take part in sleepovers as needed.
About the Role:
You’ll be supporting a young man with complex needs, working within CALM’s service on a 2:1 support basis. This role includes sleepovers and wakening nights .
