Join us as a Family Support Worker (Visits Centre Assistant)
Become an integral part of our dedicated team at the Visitor Centre. You'll provide essential support to families visiting their loved ones, including organising play and children's activities, as well as catering. Your role will be vital in ensuring families feel welcomed and supported during their visits.
Working alongside the PACT Family team, you'll be based in the visitor centre and visits hall, offering support, advice, and guidance to families. Your responsibilities will include facilitating prison visits, organising family days, and supporting the play service. Join us in this rewarding role to create meaningful connections and provide support to families during challenging times.
About You:
* Experience and understanding of working with families in challenging environments, ideally involving offenders and/or their families.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a demanding workload.
* Ability to contribute to planning and development of Pact’s family work.
* Knowledge of safeguarding/child protection practices.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build partnerships with various agencies.
