At St Michael's, we pride ourselves on running our own catering operations to provide our children with a healthy, enjoyable, and nurturing lunchtime experience. Our meals are nutritious, our service is welcoming, and we believe in making every child feel valued - even in the short time they spend at the servery. To ensure lunchtimes run smoothly, our catering team works closely together with a shared sense of purpose. Each team member understands their role and how it supports the whole operation. Communication, cooperation, and a positive attitude are key to our success. While speed and efficiency are important during service, we never compromise on warmth or the personal touch. A smile, a kind greeting, using a child\'s name, and encouraging them to speak in full sentences are small but powerful ways we help build confidence and connection.

Information about the School
At St Michael’s C of E Primary School, we recognise the vital role that we have to help shape the lives of the children we are privileged to work with. Following Jesus’ example, we put the children at the heart of all we do, knowing that they are our future. Through both explicit and implicit teaching and modelling of our school vision and by living it out in practice through our four Christian Values of Love, Integrity, Creativity and Resilience we aim to create a community within our school and beyond, which is principled and start these children off on a journey in which they will always know that Christ will be with them.
We aim to inspire children to do their best in all aspects of their lives and celebrate all their successes.
