We are seeking an organised and proactive Junior HR Advisor to join our Client. This is a vital role within the People & Culture team, helping to ensure HR compliance and supporting a positive employee experience from recruitment through to exit. This role is a people facing role that is the heart of team. Working in a small HR team supporting the Head of People his role will be based in office 4 days per week with one day at home.

The role combines day-to-day HR administration with opportunities to support wider HR projects, employee relations, and initiatives that enhance our workplace culture.
As Junior HR Advisor, you will:
* Assist with the recruitment process – advertising vacancies, coordinating interviews, conducting background and right-to-work checks, and preparing new starter documentation.
* Support onboarding for new employees, including those joining through acquisitions and mergers.
* Conduct exit interviews and assist in gathering feedback for retention improvements.
* Act as the first point of contact for employee queries relating to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
* Help manage employee records and databases
* Support with updating employment policies and drafting new ones where required.
* Assist in implementing employee benefits, wellness and performance management programmes.
* Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and in-house development initiatives.
* Produce HR reports and contribute to People & Culture projects.
* Organise HR-related events and support internal communication activities.
Applicants will have:
Previous HR Assistant experience looking to grow their career in HR. You will have some knowledge of UK employment law and HR processes.
