Job Title: PE Teacher

Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking motivated and enthusiastic PE Teachers to work in schools across Sheffield.
As a PE Teacher, you will inspire students to develop their physical abilities, resilience, and enjoyment of sport. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging lessons that encourage participation, build confidence, and support students' overall wellbeing both inside and outside the classroom.
PE Teacher Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Teach a range of sports and physical activities across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5
* Encourage student participation, teamwork, and positive attitudes towards physical fitness
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Adapt activities and lessons to meet the needs of all learners
* Promote high standards of behaviour and sportsmanship
* Organise and support extracurricular sports activities where required
* Contribute to departmental planning and the wider school community
Requirements of a PE Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related subject
* Experience teaching PE in a school setting is desirable
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* A positive, enthusiastic, and professional approach to teaching
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
