Health Care Support Worker - Theatres role at NHS Scotland
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join the Theatre team at NVACH. The successful candidate will work across multiple specialties within the perioperative environment to deliver safe and effective care to patients and assist with day-to-day tasks that maintain the smooth running of operating lists.

Responsibilities
* Work across multiple specialties within the perioperative environment to deliver safe and effective patient care.
* Assist registered practitioners and medical practitioners with delivery of care.
* Use medical equipment (including reporting broken items) and prepare equipment and sundries for operating lists.
* Perform day-to-day tasks that maintain the smooth running of operating lists.
* Adhere to national and local policies and protocols.
* Complete a competency programme for Health Care Support Workers in the perioperative environment.
* Support learners who are new to the role when you have acquired the necessary skills and experience.
* Work across multiple sites around Glasgow as employed by South Sector NHSGGC.
Qualifications
* Experience is desirable but not necessary; training will be provided.
Shift pattern and work details
The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 08:00–17:30 x2, 08:00–18:00 x2; however this may become 24/7 at the needs of service.
