Responsibilities
* Work alongside the Head of Design and Technology to improve the teaching and learning provision, with a specific focus on Food Technology, Health & Social Care and Child Development.
* Collaborate with the team to deliver active and engaging learning, enthusing young people and motivating them to want to succeed.
* Set targets that stretch and challenge students of all backgrounds, abilities and dispositions.
* Commit to continuous professional development.
* Teach Food Technology KS3-KS5 and/or teach Health & Social Care and Child Development KS4-KS5, as required.
Qualifications
* Qualified teacher with experience in Food Technology, Health & Social Care and Child Development.
* Enthusiastic team player with a passion for teaching a range of subjects and ability to bring them to life in the classroom.
* Experienced teacher qualified for KS3-KS5 teaching in Food Technology and KS4- KS5 in Health & Social Care and Child Development.
Additional Information
The successful applicant will be supported by an excellent department and will have the opportunity to complete the Level 1 TEEP (Teacher Effectiveness Enhancement Programme) as part of their professional development.
