Job Description:
The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Global Brand Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing, and the General Manager to plan and maintain the brand identity through strategic planning and activation. Responsibilities include executing activities to support Shanghai Me London, managing social media, overseeing digital campaigns, coordinating events, and supporting brand collateral development. The role requires organization, flexibility, creativity, and a strong understanding of the F&B industry, with experience in digital marketing, content creation, and working with external agencies.
Responsibilities:
1. Create content briefs for marketing activations.
2. Develop a localized marketing calendar in collaboration with the Global Brand Marketing Manager.
3. Support the execution of restaurant activations and private dining events, ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
4. Oversee social media and digital campaigns to increase awareness and build brand loyalty.
5. Coordinate with brand and operations teams to meet business needs.
6. Assist in developing brand collateral and maintaining consistent tone of voice across platforms.
7. Respond to guest messages across platforms.
8. Manage relationships with graphic design, PR, and digital marketing agencies.
9. Maintain records of challenges and achievements through monthly reports.
10. Ensure brand standards are consistently met and coordinate photoshoots and videoshoots.
11. Prepare monthly BRM reports including social media, PR, and digital marketing metrics.
12. Work autonomously and collaboratively within a global team.
13. Work under pressure and pay attention to quality and detail.
Qualifications:
* 4-5 years experience in Brand/Marketing, preferably within the F&B industry.
* Proficiency in the local language.
* Hospitality/F&B background and understanding of London's F&B scene.
* Knowledge of current cultural and social trends relevant to the dining scene.
* Strong interpersonal skills, organization, and creativity.
* Experience with content creation, digital marketing, event management, budgeting, and overseeing external agencies.
* Educational background in marketing preferred.
* Excellent social media skills and familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office, Mailchimp, Canva.
