Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for leading and developing a team? VetPartners, one of the largest veterinary groups in the UK, is seeking an HRBP, to lead our Team of HR Advisors, on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis, with Part Time Hours - whether on a 'School hours' or 3 days per week, 60% basis.
Reporting to the Operational HR Manager, and based at our York Central Support office on a hybrid basis, you will play a key role in providing effective HR support to our practices along with coaching and developing our People Team HR Advisors ensuring a fair and consistent approach across the team.
As the first point of contact for day-to-day management support for the HR advisor team, you will be responsible for developing and coaching them in providing a professional 'first point of contact' for operational HR queries, whilst liaising with our HRBP's to ensure they receive accurate support with case management, ensuring Employee Relations matters are advanced appropriately, through to resolution. You will also support in the monitoring, reviewing, and updating all HR policies, ensuring they are fit for purpose and compliant with current legislation.
The ideal candidate:
* Experienced in providing first line advice and support to managers, on Employee Relations issues, and have relationship management experience and influencing skills.
* Comprehensive HR administration knowledge and experience
* You will be a collaborative team member, able to work closely within your own team and with internal and external stakeholders.
* Holds CIPD qualification L5/L7 is required along with experience in practical application of employment legislation.
Practically, the role is offered on a 12 Month, Part Time, Fixed Term basis
