Contracts Manager - Planned Maintenance (Social Housing)
Location: Covering Southampton to Bristol (Regional Role)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading contractor that specialises in delivering planned maintenance services across the social housing sector. With an increasing portfolio of contracts stretching from Southampton to Bristol, they are now seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of these key programmes for their office in Newbury.
Role Overview
As Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for managing multiple planned works schemes, including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, and external upgrades across a regional patch. You'll lead operational teams, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to budget.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the delivery of planned maintenance contracts across multiple sites
2. Lead and support site managers, supervisors, and trades teams
3. Ensure health & safety compliance across all operations
4. Monitor and manage budgets, KPIs, and programme delivery
5. Act as the main point of contact for clients, attending progress meetings and resolving issues
6. Ensure high levels of resident satisfaction and customer care
7. Work closely with commercial teams to ensure financial control
8. Drive quality standards and continuous improvement
Requirements
9. Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar level in planned maintenance
10. Strong background in the social housing sector is essential
11. Experience managing multiple workstreams and large teams
12. Excellent knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practice
13. Financially aware with experience in budget control and performance management
14. Excellent communication and leadership skills
15. Full UK driving licence - regional travel required
