Overview

The purpose of this post is to work as a member of the multi-disciplinary clinical team within a prison healthcare setting. Your role would involve working compassionately with young adults with neurodevelopmental and mental health needs within the prison, either within the inpatient unit and/or on the main wings/houseblocks. You will focus on the holistic needs of service users, working across boundaries of care, organisations and roles coordinated through the Care Programme Approach within a trauma informed care framework.

Responsibilities

The role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team in a prison healthcare setting, focusing on compassionate care for young adults with neurodevelopmental and mental health needs. Responsibilities include addressing holistic needs of service users, working across boundaries of care, organisations and roles, and coordinating through the Care Programme Approach within a trauma-informed care framework. The role supports a 7-day week model to ensure continuous patient care within secure environments.
