We are seeking a QC Administration Assistant to join our Quality Control team at our Ellesmere Port site. This role offers an opportunity to support the effective delivery of QC activities through accurate data management, SAP system administration, and close collaboration with colleagues across the site.
Key Responsibilities
* Input, maintain and manage quality data within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring accuracy and completeness
* Support the creation and maintenance of SAP QM master data, including inspection plans and certificates of analysis
* Manage inspection lots in SAP, including result entry and supporting usage decisions
* Review supplier Certificates of Analysis (CoA) against specifications and ensure accurate recording and filing
* Generate Certificates of Analysis for products, including supporting the transition from manual to SAP‑generated documents
* Input data for repackaging and relabelled products, ensuring all system records are accurate
* Review and approve QC documentation, including worksheets and external laboratory results (where required)
* Liaise with plant and supply chain teams to support product release and dispatch activities
* Monitor and respond to queries via the QC inbox, resolving issues in a timely manner
* Support general QC administrative activities, including maintaining records and documentation in line with quality procedures
* Assist with purchase requisitions and other SAP‑related administrative tasks
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in an administrative or quality support role, ideally within a manufacturing or laboratory environment
* Experience using SAP S/4HANA or a similar ERP system
* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy when handling data
* Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
* Basic understanding of quality control processes (desirable but not essential)
* Confident communication skills and ability to work with different teams across site
* Proactive and reliable approach, with a willingness to learn
