Velox Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a respected children’s residential care provider. The organisation operates Ofsted-registered homes offering therapeutic, trauma-informed care to young people who have experienced trauma, exploitation, and other complex challenges.
About the Role
We are seeking compassionate, resilient Residential Support Workers to join the team in Buckinghamshire. In this role, you will support young people aged up to 18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, helping them develop life skills, emotional resilience, and positive routines. You will play a key part in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and structured environment while supporting care plans and therapeutic approaches.
Key Responsibilities

Provide consistent, child-focused care in line with individual needs

Support young people’s education, wellbeing, and personal development

Build professional, trusting relationships through daily interactions

Contribute to care and behaviour plans, recording progress accurately
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals

Maintain household routines and promote a safe, welcoming environment
Requirements
*
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards
*
Experience supporting children or young people with EBD or complex needs
*
Understanding of safeguarding, child development, and trauma-informed care
*
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
*
Strong communication skills, resilience, and a caring nature
*
Enhanced DBS
