A Snapshot of Your Day
The SGT-A65 Product Manager owns the product roadmap for the A65 business. With a large installed fleet, this role plays a key part in protecting existing revenues & profit, as well as defining future product strategies. The role involves collaborating with teams in Product Management, Engineering, Business Development, Strategy, LTP & M&U, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, and customers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Manage the development and maintenance of business cases and product requirements for the SGT-A65 portfolio, including submission through R&D budgeting processes and owning the product development budget.
2. Drive ideation by understanding technology, product costs, market & customer needs, identifying market opportunities, and developing product-market fit and obsolescence roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
3. Assess existing product attributes for competitiveness and develop requirements for new programs.
4. Collaborate with engineering to monitor product development against milestones and work with the PMO to address risks related to delivery, budgets, and resources.
5. Serve as gatekeeper for PDP reviews and gates, and approve product bulletins related to the frame.
6. Work with the GSO commercialization team to develop business cases for new service upgrade products and collaborate with the target cost manager to address product cost gaps.
7. Support bid processes for fleet and new unit proposals, model lifecycle costs for new market applications or operational profiles.
8. Represent Siemens Energy at customer events, promote new products, and support NPI through training and updates.
What You Bring
1. Degree or equivalent in engineering or related field, with over 10 years in technical, product, or commercial roles, especially involving Aeroderivative products.
2. Strong understanding of Siemens Energy AGT products, customer relations, and commercial structures, familiar with sales and product development processes.
3. Excellent communication skills, able to work independently and manage projects effectively.
4. Skilled in data analysis, road-mapping, networking, prioritization, and influencing internal and external partners.
5. Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, with knowledge of regional business practices, customer needs, and competitors.
6. This role requires proficiency in English to understand international documentation and communicate with global colleagues and customers, despite being in a French-speaking environment.
