Title: Head of Marketing, Ax Toxin Franchise
Location: Orange County
Job Summary:
The Head of Marketing for the AX Toxin Franchise leads the strategic direction and execution of brand marketing initiatives across all stages of the product lifecycle. This senior leadership role is responsible for maximizing customer engagement, commercial performance, and long-term brand equity within Galderma’s aesthetic injectables portfolio. The role oversees a team of marketers, manages cross-functional partnerships, and ensures consistent brand positioning and customer experience across all channels—digital, physical, and clinical. The leader drives innovation, launches, and lifecycle strategies to keep the Ax Toxin brand differentiated in a dynamic and competitive market. This role will lead the launch of Relfydess in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development and execution of the global/regional product strategy for the Ax Toxin Franchise, ensuring brand differentiation and market relevance.
•Oversee lifecycle marketing plans, including new product introductions, enhancements, and packaging innovations based on customer and market insights.
•Manage development of value propositions, technical specifications, and customer experience plans that reflect brand objectives and user needs.
•Lead market research efforts to identify trends, unmet needs, and areas for competitive advantage.
•Monitor brand and product performance across markets; implement marketing and product adjustments as needed.
•Ensure an integrated and consistent customer journey across touchpoints including digital platforms, social media, e-commerce, in-practice programs, and peer-to-peer channels.
•Direct cross-functional teams to align sales, education, medical, regulatory, and supply chain around launch and growth strategies.
•Build and manage a high-performing marketing team, including talent development, goal setting, and performance management.
•Own budget planning and resource allocation for the Ax Toxin marketing function.
•Represent the Ax Toxin brand in executive forums and serve as the lead point of contact for global/regional strategic alignment.
•Manage external partners and agencies to ensure brand standards and delivery excellence.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
• Education: Master's or bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field required; PhD in a relevant specialty (e.g., R&D, Clinical Science) is a plus.
•Experience: 12+ years of experience in product/brand management or marketing leadership, ideally in aesthetics, dermatology, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.
•Proven success managing a high-profile brand or franchise across global or regional markets.
•Deep understanding of customer segmentation, branding, and digital engagement in the healthcare or aesthetics space.
•Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
•Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, drive commercial results, and lead transformational marketing programs.
•Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
•Budget management and vendor oversight experience required.
•Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and influencing across levels and functions.
Position is commensurate with experience.
About the Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is determined based on several factors. These include but are not limited to job accountabilities; skill sets; experience and training; certifications; work location; competitive market rates and other business needs. At Galderma, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a unique combination of factors for each role. A reasonable estimate of the hiring range for this role is $290,000 - $330,000.
In addition to base salary, we provide an opportunity to participate in an annual short-term incentive program that is based on corporate performance with a multiplier focused on individual performance.
