Overview
We're now looking for a Recycling Operative, to work on a DHL site part of Enviro-solutions part of the warehouse.
Responsibilities
* Working in the recycling department
* Lifting and sorting of recycling material
* Decanting vehicles and cages
* Sorting out cardboard bailers
* Oil recycling and managing of the flow
* Sorting recycled electronics such as microwaves, pizza ovens, floor polishers
What this role would suit
* Collection: Loading and unloading recycling collection
* Sorting & Segregation: Identifying, separating, and picking recyclable materials from other waste
* Inspection Checking: Materials to ensure they meet quality standards and removing contamination or non-recyclable items
* Physical Demands: The role can be physically demanding and requires physical fitness
* Outdoor Work: You may work outdoors and indoors in various weather conditions
* Flexibility: Being able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands
