Scheme Manager - Homeownership

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Scheme Manager to join our Homeownership team. Using your customer service skills and ability to think on your feet, you'll play a key role in identifying areas of risk, reporting them promptly, and monitoring them closely. This role involves communicating with customers and coordinating contractor workloads. We seek someone with recent experience in a similar role demonstrating exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Encourage residents to maintain their well-being and independence through tailored housing support services.
2. Provide administrative support, including producing letters/notices, recording data, raising purchase orders, managing invoices, and supporting resales.
3. Communicate confidently with customers face-to-face and via telephone regarding queries and complaints, offering advice and guidance.
4. Supervise contractors and oversee works to maximize service delivery.
5. Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory housing service requirements.


Experience and Skills:

* Experience working with older people in a support capacity, understanding their key needs and services.
* Experience with resident involvement and customer participation activities.
* Ability to organize and prioritize multiple workloads effectively.
* Excellent communication and customer care skills.
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
* A full valid driving license and access to a vehicle, as travel to other sites may be required.

Salary: £24,866 per annum, rising to £25,635 after 12 months, based on 37.5 hours/week. The full-time equivalent salary is £26,643, rising to £27,467 after 12 months, subject to performance.
