Offer description

Are you looking to gain hands on experience?

Are you looking to pursue a career in Project Management and/ or Infrastructure?

Are you a current A-Level Student?

North East Lincolnshire Council's Project Management Office and Professional services are looking to take on an enthusiastic and committed Intern over the summer. The work carried out as part of this internship will involve supporting and having insight in the delivery of major schemes such as the Freshney Place Leisure scheme, the regeneration of Pier Gardens, Sea Road and Market Place in Cleethorpes, the new Transport Hub and many others.

You will work alongside experienced project managers and professional services teams, gaining hands‑on experience of how large‑scale capital programmes are planned, managed and delivered within a local authority setting. The role will provide exposure to a wide range of activities, including project planning, stakeholder engagement, progress monitoring, governance processes and reporting.

This internship offers a valuable opportunity to develop practical skills, enhance employability and gain first‑hand insight into public sector regeneration and infrastructure projects that have a direct and lasting impact on the borough. The successful candidate will be motivated, organised and keen to learn, with an interest in project management, regeneration or the built environment.

You must currently be a A Level Student to be considered for this role.
