Your Next Challenge
The Payment Evolution Project is focused on containerising and modernising existing applications for Azure deployment. This is a technical migration, not a major functionality rewrite—our goal is to transition to a more scalable, cloud‑native architecture while maintaining stability.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Coaching and mentoring a team of 2‑4 engineers.
* Modernising and containerising existing applications for Azure deployment.
* Building new cloud‑native, event‑driven applications.
* Ensuring applications are cloud‑ready without unnecessary functionality rewrites.
* Evaluating and implementing the right .NET framework version for each application.
Essential Qualifications
* Strong experience with .NET 6‑8 and C#.
* Deep understanding of SQL and relational databases.
* Experience with Azure (or AWS) and cloud‑based architectures.
* Proficiency in Docker and containerisation.
* Strong experience developing and maintaining Web APIs.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in cloud‑native applications using Azure.
* Knowledge of Kafka for messaging and event‑driven processing.
* Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
* Understanding of WinForms & WCF for maintaining legacy applications.
* Experience with Temenos or similar core banking platforms would be advantageous.
