Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we enable and enhance telecom networks, leading in delivering our tech-enabled future. We provide full network cycle services for fixed, private, and mobile operators, including survey, design, installation, and maintenance of private 5G networks, small cells, supporting Smart Cities & Connected infrastructure.
What will you be doing?
As a Design Engineer, you'll create telecom site designs for new builds, upgrades, and relocations, matching customer specifications. You'll collaborate with CAD, structural, and electrical experts, working in a hybrid model with site visits as needed.
Responsibilities include:
* Helping project teams meet deadlines and deliverables.
* Planning workloads, surveys, and dependencies.
* Visiting sites, working with clients, and finalizing designs.
* Guiding CAD teams to produce drawings.
* Ensuring safety documentation meets CDM standards.
* Collaborating to finalize designs and keeping systems updated.
What you'll bring?
A UK driving license and willingness to travel. Experience with site surveys (rooftops, greenfield, streetworks) and telecom design (preferably MBNL/BTEE/H3G). Knowledge of rigging, electrical schematics, and structural design is essential. Familiarity with ICNIRP and building regs is advantageous. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is required. A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is a plus. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude are essential.
