An opportunity to join a growing insurance business in the City. Our client seeks a Compliance Manager to join the team. This integral role is wide-ranging and works cross-functionally to identify, assess, and monitor regulatory risk, providing advice and guidance to various departments. Responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures to inform, educate, and elevate standards across the business Overseeing detailed information gathering, process mapping, and other activities with the objective to identify and assess compliance risks, extensive interaction with other departments and functions Owning and developing a Product Governance Framework Providing advice on regulatory risk and reporting on the effectiveness of internal systems and controls to senior management Designing and implementing effective compliance training programmes Leading and supporting compliance-related initiatives and projects Investigating and resolving compliance issues Interpreting data and analysing key performance indicators Assisting in ensuring Consumer Duty Obligations are met Identifying and mitigating Conduct Risk Experience and Knowledge required: An in-depth understanding of the UK financial services regulatory landscape, including PRA and FCA regulations Proven experience of working in the Insurance industry A track record of implementing and monitoring compliance frameworks Experience of identifying, assessing, and mitigating regulatory risks in insurance firms Expertise in financial crime prevention and compliance Excellent stakeholder engagement and people management skills Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities *Our client is committed to diversity in all of its forms and operates an inclusive recruitment process.
