What's involved with this role: Job Title: Executive Admin Assistant To CEO Ref: WECA 5270817 Pay rate: Up to £18.72 per hour PAYE depending on experience The role: On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly capable and proactive Executive Assistant to support the CEO in delivering one of the UK’s most ambitious regeneration programmes. Working at the heart of a major partnership, you will provide strategic and high-quality executive support to the CEO by managing complex diaries, stakeholder engagement, communications, and key events. This is a high-profile role requiring exceptional organisational and communication skills, discretion, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, start-up-style public sector environment. The role demands a high degree of professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail. Key responsibilities: Manage CEO’s diary, meetings, visits, and speaking engagements to ensure smooth scheduling Book meeting rooms and arrange IT, layout, refreshments, etc. Manage CEO’s inbox; use judgement to prioritise and respond where appropriate Provide secretariat support: prepare papers, gather content, take minutes, and track actions Handle calls for the CEO with discretion and support the wider team to ensure a high-quality administrative service Organise cost-effective travel and accommodation Support events, large meetings, and VIP visits including venue management, guest lists, liaising closely with communications colleagues to ensure appropriate media coverage What the client is looking for: NVQ Level 3 in Business Admin or equivalent experience Clear understanding of the requirements of a role that directly supports senior management Knowledge and/or experience of equalities, diversity and inclusion issues Strong keyboard and IT skills: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint with a willingness to learn new systems Admin experience in fast-paced environments, ideally supporting C-suite level executives Skilled in managing complex, shifting priorities Confident dealing with senior stakeholders Experienced in organising meetings and events Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused Ability to build strong relationships and team-oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Understands the need for discretion and confidentiality Minute taking skills How to Apply Quote the Job Title and Reference Number in your application.
