Sales Assistant - Crawley
Smyths Toys Superstores, an international specialty retailer of childrens toys.
Location: Crawley, United Kingdom.
We are seeking energetic, customer‑focused Sales Assistants for our Crawley store. This is a temporary contract role with flexible hours.
Rate of pay: £12.80 per hour (age 21+), £10.55 per hour (under 21).
Responsibilities
* Provide a high level of customer service
* Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
* Work as part of a fast‑paced and dynamic team
* Keep the store clean and tidy
* Pack shelves and merchandise
* Work on deliveries and complete price changes
* Work on the tills
* Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers
The Ideal Candidate
Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential:
* Outdoor/Bikes
* Nursery
* Software & Gaming
* Backdoor/Warehouse
Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we need Sales Assistants to be as flexible as possible.
