A vibrant and ambitious secondary school in Cheltenham is looking to appoint a Food Technology Teacher from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position (with potential for part-time) teaching Food Preparation and Nutrition across KS3–KS4.

Your Responsibilities:

Teach Food Preparation and Nutrition across Years 7–11 (AQA)
*
Lead engaging, practical lessons with strong emphasis on skill development and nutrition knowledge
*
Support students with NEA coursework and exam preparation
*
Promote food education through clubs, competitions, and themed days
*
Help build students’ confidence and independence in cooking
Candidate Requirements:
*
Degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or related field + PGCE/QTS
*
Knowledge of current food safety regulations and NEA expectations
*
Passion for food education and inclusive teaching
*
Commitment to wider school participation and co-curricular contribution
