We are currently recruiting an amodation and support officer to work within a supported housing project for young people aged 16–25 years old.
Your new role
This is a full-time on-site role, working 35 hours per week, ideally 9-5pm Monday–Friday. We are looking for someone who can provide high-quality housing management services for the customers, ensuring key performance objectives are achieved, assisting all customers to maximise financial ie and gain aprehensive knowledge and understanding of welfare benefits to be able to move-on independently.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check (including children's barred list).
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that the successful candidate has knowledge of welfare reform, and you must also hold GCSEs in Maths and English grade c and above or equivalent. Ideally, you will have an understanding of housing management, including property maintenance, void standards and ie and budget management. Preferably, you will have experience of using orchard housing, but this can be shown. Knowledge of working with young people and safeguarding in relation to young people is required.
